Patent for compounds used in organic synthesis

27.02.2019

Researchers from the University of Silesia and the Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals in Gliwice have developed a method of obtaining compounds that will be used in chemistry, organic synthesis, biochemistry as well as chemical technology, in particular in polymer technology.

The developed method for the production of 1-propenyl compounds of the type QCH = CHCH3 1-propenyl will be used for the production of photocurable resins used in the industry of protective coatings, printing inks, in micro- and optoelectronics, lithography and dentistry.

The patent-protected invention will also find application in the production of: polymers with high refractive index used in the production of optical fibers, compounds useful in anti-cancer prevention, stabilizers and antioxidant additives to gum, as well as mixtures that are flavors or aromas with onion aromas.
