The Ministry of Education and Science has launched the People of Science project. It is a portal where every citizen can easily find information about Polish scientists and their achievements.
People of Science is the largest knowledge base about Polish scientific achievements. It gathers in one place data on over 90 thousand Polish scientists with over one million scientific achievements. It is one of the key services available on the edukacja.gov.pl portal. The project is commissioned by the Centre for Digital Transformation of the Ministry of Education and Science by the Information Processing Centre – National Research Institute and is the implementation of the state’s mission to disseminate knowledge about Polish science.
The main task of the People of Science project is to promote Polish scientific achievements in the country and abroad. It is the first ever official database on Polish scientists, containing only information verified by universities and other scientific institutions.
