PGE Energia Ciepła and PGE Nowa Energia, companies of the PGE Capital Group are organizing hackathon Energy HackOn “Optimization of heat and electricity production”. The event will take place on December 13-14, 2019 at the Energy Center of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków.
The participants’ task will be to create a prototype of the application used to optimize coverage of heat demand. The data provided by the Polish Energy Group (PGE) will be used for programming tasks.
Participants can apply as teams of 2-3 persons. Awards for the two best projects amount 18 thousand PLN. The winners will also have an opportunity to cooperate with PGE experts and even implement their solution.
Hackathon Energy HackOn is supported by the Rector of AGH Prof. Eng. Tadeusz Słomka. The scientific partner is the Department of Energy Systems and Environmental Protection Devices at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics AGH.
