Piotr Dukalski, a PhD student of the Silesian University of Technology, and Eng. Jakub Tumidajski, a university graduate, are laureates of this year’s competition of the Warsaw University of Technology and Siemens.
Piotr Dukalski became the laureate of the 25th Siemens Competition for scientists and research teams for his work “Motor for installation in the wheels of electric cars with increased power density”.
The 2nd degree award in the 4th Competition for the Siemens Award for Graduates in the field of Electrical Engineering was won by a graduate – Eng. Jakub Tumidajski for his thesis “Comparative CFD Analysis of Vertical Axis Wind Turbines”, which he presented in the Department of Thermal Technology.
The Siemens Award Competition promotes outstanding achievements in technology and scientific research of employees and graduates of Polish universities. Competition participants can submit projects related to the scope of Siemens operations.
