Piotr Krajewski from the Department and Clinic of Dermatology, Venereology and Allergology at the Medical University of Wrocław was among the 15 finalists of the 21st Polityka’s Scientific Awards . He is the youngest winner and is the only one who does not yet have a scientific title. 

Piotr Krajewski is a student of the Doctoral School of the Medical University in Wrocław and a resident doctor at the Department of Dermatology, Venereology and Allergology. His scientific research focuses primarily on the pathogenesis and clinical picture of hidradenitis suppurativa – a chronic, inflammatory skin disease affecting young adults.

Since 2001, the Polityka Foundation has been running a scholarship program for young scientists called “Stay with us!” – since 2011, under the name of Scientific Awards. It promotes a valuable career model and scientific achievements of young scientists in Poland through the action carried out in the pages of “Polityka” weekly.
