Aleksandra Krawczyk, PhD student in law of the University of Opole won the 9th competition “Rising Stars, Lawyers – leaders of tomorrow” for 2020. The competition is organized by the Wolters Kluwer Polska publishing house.

Among 128 lawyers who applied for the competition, the jury selected first 35 finalists, and then ten winners of the main prize and five winners of special prizes. The winners are young lawyers who are under 35 years of age and with their social attitude, knowledge and entrepreneurship, they implement the highest standards of legal services.

The jury appreciated their creativity, the ability to sense new market trends, knowledge or combining a professional career with scientific work, as well as care for the quality of law-making and application. Pro bono or social activity was also rewarded. This year, for the second time in the history of the competition, only women – lawyers were the top winners.
