The young scientist focuses on using enhanced learning to predict the behavior of proteins in the cell membrane. This may allow you to guess the effect of a mutation on a given protein, e.g. to explain the occurrence of Brugada syndrome (a rare genetic heart disease), or the inactivity of a given drug on a particular protein.
Excellence is a prestigious program for foreigners who want to study in France. Scholarship holders receive a monthly scholarship of 1181 euros (master’s studies) or 1400 euros (doctoral students). They also receive funding for return travel costs, health insurance, as well as discounts on cultural attractions.
