Agnieszka Podwin, a PhD student at the Wrocław University of Technology was the winner of the “Innovation is a woman” The winner of the competition submitted the concept of a low-cost biological laboratory lab-on-chip, consisting of three components, each of which contains a proprietary invention.

The awarded solution will be presented in June 2018 during the international exhibition “Invent Arena” in Třinec, Czech Republic.
“Innovation is a Woman” is a competition addressed to female researchers who can boast of developing an original innovative solution. The competition is one of the forms of promoting women’s achievements in the science and research sector by the Foundation “Women of Science – Polish Women’s Science Network”.
