The call for applications for the National Centre for Research and Development’s competition ‘Education for the needs of the economy’, implemented under Measure 01.05: Skills in higher education, Priority 1: Skills, of the European Funds for Social Development 2021-2027 programme, is open until 31 October 2023.

The competition addressed to Polish HEIs concerns projects aimed at the development and implementation of a comprehensive support programme implemented in the field or fields of study, enabling the adaptation of qualifications or competences of students of a given field or fields of study to the needs of the economy and the labour market, as well as the development of qualifications or competences of the staff involved in the implementation of the educational process in the field or fields covered by the support, in order to adapt the offer of the entities of the higher education system to the needs of the development of the economy and the green and digital transformation.

The budget of the competition is PLN 500 million.
