Podkarpackie Innovation Center applied for projects co-financed under the grant program for research and development (R&D) scientific units. Rzeszów University of Technology received 14 grants (most of all applicants) with a total amount of over 1.7 million PLN.

Grants worth almost PLN 4 million were received by 25 best research teams from the Rzeszów University of Technology, the University of Rzeszów and the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów. The maximum amount of project co-financing was 200,000. PLN, and the minimum – 20 thousand PLN.

– The goal of this project is not only to award grants, but also to conduct later cooperate with research teams to meet the market expectations. We want to further support such activities – said Jacek Kubrak, president of the Podkarpackie Innovation Center. In his opinion, out of 25 awarded applications, as many as 16 projects have a chance for commercialization.
