Polish Academy of Sciences and National Center for Research and Development in Brussels to hold webinar on climate neutrality of cities

The PolSCA office of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN) and the Office of the National Center for Research and Development in Brussels are organizing the webinar on June 21, 2021″Mission of 100 climate neutral cities by 2030 – for citizens, thanks to citizens”.  

The mission “100 climate neutral cities by 2030 – for citizens, thanks to citizens” will support new ideas, research and innovations that will help cities to introduce systemic transformation in order to achieve climate neutrality.

The report prepared by the mission management board proposes actions that should be taken to achieve the goal of 100 climate-neutral urban centres in Europe within 10 years.

The meeting will be attended by: Rosalinde van der Vlies from the European Commission, Prof. Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz, chairman of the board of the mission “Climate-neutral and smart cities” and experts in the urban issues, who will participate in discussion panels.
