For the 22nd time the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development and the National Center for Research and Development awarded prizes “Polish Product of the Future” to Polish innovators.

The competition aims to promote innovative products and technologies developed in Poland that have the potential to appear on the global market.

Two main prizes of 100,000 PLN each in the category “Product of the entrepreneur’s future” were awarded to StethoMe Sp. z o.o. for an intelligent stethoscope that detects irregularities that occur in the course of infection, pneumonia or asthma. The stethoscope allows the patient to do an independent examination at home.

In the ‘Product of the future of higher education and science institutions’ category, the award was received by the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow for Otoimplant, a middle ear prosthesis with bactericidal effect, which provides patients with a shorter recovery period, reduces the risk of complications in the course of infections and bacterial infections and allows reconstruction of the structure and function of middle ear bone structures.
