The Polish-American Freedom Foundation “PhDo” is launching Doctoral Scholarship Program offering an annual scholarship of PLN 18,000.

The “PhDo” program is addressed to doctoral students who have been admitted to full-time doctoral studies at a Polish public university, at a research institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences or at a research institute or an international research institute operating in Poland and whose doctoral theses are related to the activities of a social organization.

The evaluation criteria for awarding the scholarship include: the areas and possibilities of applying the doctoral dissertation in the activities of non-governmental organizations, the third sector and in civic research, described in the cover letter and supported by the opinion of the representative of the organization with which the candidate declares cooperation; concept of a doctoral dissertation; scientific achievements, supported by the supervisor’s opinion containing an assessment of the scientific achievements; the result of the interview.

Students can apply for a scholarship by taking part in the competition which will be held until October 8, 2021.
