The Polish-American Fulbright Commission has completed the competition process for the Fulbright STEM Impact Award 2023-24 programme and presented a list of six award winners. 

According to the Polish-American Fulbright Commission, the call for applications for the programme ran until 26 May this year. The competition attracted 21 applicants. As a result of the competition procedure – which included a substantive assessment of the project prepared by three independent experts and an interview with those whose applications received the highest marks – six nominations were awarded.

They included Prof. Józef Dulak from the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Dr. Magdalena Baborska-Narożny from the Wrocław University of Technology, Prof. Przemysław Biecek from the Warsaw University of Technology, Dr Agata Daszkowska- Golec, Prof. UŚ from the University of Silesia in Katowice, Dr. Maciej Dołęga, Prof. IM PAN from the Institute of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and Prof. Piotr Szymczak from the University of Warsaw.
