Polish design office constructs a turbojet engine for the HondaJet

One of the most modern HondaJet HA-420 business aircraft was presented at the Warsaw Okęcie Airport. GE Honda HF120 turbojet engine for this modern unit was designed at the Engineering Design Center, a design office being a joint venture of General Electric Aviation and the Institute of Aviation in Warsaw.

The HF 120 engine for HondaJet is not the only project run by the Engineering Design Center. The Polish engineers carry out comprehensive projects related to the most modern devices for various industries – including aviation and energy. Key achievements include the latest aircraft engines, efficient turbines and installations for extracting oil and gas from the seabed. Projects have been carried out in Warsaw starting from the concept phase and under the Polish engineers’ lead.
