Polish Development Fund establishes Central House of Technology

17.06.2019

The Polish Development Fund (PFR) has created its own educational center. The Central House of Technology was created on the area of approximately 1000 sq m in the former Smyk department store in Warsaw.

The center is managed by the Foundation for the Polish Development Fund in partnership with Daftcode, Skriware, Kids Code Fun, and the Coding Masters Association.

Paweł Borys, PFR president said that Central House of Technology will be a space where in the interactive and interdisciplinary way everybody will be able to gain knowledge to develop the competencies needed to build the future’s economy.

Research shows that representatives of generations “Y” and “Z” up to 40 years of age can even change workplace tenfold. Many professions are disappearing and new ones are appearing. This requires a change in approach to education.
