Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin with the Minister of Science and Technology of Israel Ofir Akunis discussed the intensification of contacts between Polish and Israeli universities, as well as technological cooperation within the framework of National Center for Research and Development and the Israeli Center for Research and Development for Industry’s joint research projects.

Jarosław Gowin, Deputy PM and Minister of Science and Higher Education and Piotr Dardziński, Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Science on 27-29 May 2018, visited Israel. The trip agenda included meetings with representatives of Israeli and Estonian higher education with the chairman of the Planning and Budget Committee, a member of the Higher Education Council of Israel Prof. Yaffa Zilbershats and the Minister of Education and Research of Estonia Mailis Reps.

As the Ministry of Science informs, ministers discussed issues related to Polish experience in reforming the higher education system, talked about a unique consultation process with the academic milieu and the National Science Congress. They also informed about the concepts of internationalization of Polish science and activities of the National Agency for Academic Exchange.
