Three Polish-Austrian research projects and one Polish-Swiss project joined the list of winners of the Weave-UNISONO competition. The National Science Center (NCN) will allocate PLN 5.8 million for research conducted by Polish teams in cooperation with foreign partners.
All Polish-Austrian projects qualified for funding relate to exact and technical sciences, informed the National Science Center.
Scientists from the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science of the Jagiellonian University will deal with the issues of node compatibility, a team from the Faculty of Physics at the University of Warsaw will work on synergistic remote detection of aerosols, and scientists from the Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering of the Warsaw University of Technology will shape nanomaterials as a result of high-pressure annealing.
The list of winners of the Weave-UNISONO competition also includes a Polish-Swiss project. A team from the Institute of Experimental Medicine of the Polish Academy of Sciences will conduct research on the role of the autophagy process in oligodendrocyte cells in perinatal hypoxic-ischemic brain injury.
