Polish scientist comes second in the European finals of the “My PhD in 180 seconds” competition

Michalina Kowala from the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań took second place in the European final of the competition “My PhD in 180 seconds”. In her presentation, she spoke about the copyrights of press publishers and access to information.

During the finals, nine participants: 4 people from Poland (from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, the Institute of Fundamental Technological Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the University of Life Sciences in Wrocław), 4 from Austria and 2 from the Czech Republic, were to present the subject of their dissertations in French so that it is understandable to a wide audience.

For the fourth year in a row, French institutes in Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Austria, in cooperation with the Francophonie University Agency, organized the French-language competition “My PhD in 180 seconds” for the Central European region. This year’s European Final took place on June 7 at the University of Vienna.
