Polish scientists led by Prof. Marcin Majka from the Collegium Medicum of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, developed a preparation effective in blocking UV radiation. The preparation is 100% natural, safe for health and contains melanin instead of synthetic substances.

“A cream with a filter works for several hours or for one entry into the water. And the effect of our preparation should be counted in days. We are still testing the conditions for the use of cosmetics containing melanin, but we can safely assume that one application before going on vacation should be enough”, said Prof. Majka.

Polish scientists have already completed the laboratory research phase and have managed to scale the entire process, i.e. to prove that the production of an innovative sunscreen cream on an industrial scale is possible. Now they are looking for investors.
