The Masovian Public Higher School in Płock applied for the opening of a medical faculty

The Masovian Public Higher School in Płock submitted to the Ministry of Education and Science a complete set of documents regarding the consent to the creation of master’s studies in medicine.

The application was signed by Prof. Maciej Słodki, Rector of the Municipal District Office in Płock. The required list of documents includes the concept of education, study program, support for students and didactic base, statements of academic staff and medical staff. The documentation also includes a project to expand Collegium Medicum.

The Ministry of Education and Science has one month to process the application, after which it will forward it to the Polish Accreditation Committee (PKA). PKA has 3 months to issue an opinion on the application. The decision on the establishment of a medical course at MUP in Płock will be made in the autumn. If it is positive, approximately 60 medical students will start the premier academic year in October 2023.
