Polish scientists to carry out research projects in CHIST-ERA network competition

Three international research projects involving Polish scientists have been selected in the CHIST-ERA Call 2022 network competition. National teams will receive more than PLN 4 million for research in communication and information technologies, announced the National Science Centre.

The Polish team, led by Dr Marcin Pawłowski from the International Centre for Theory of Quantum Technologies at the University of Gdansk, will coordinate the project ‘Modern Device Independent Cryptography’ (MoDIC).

Prof. Hanna Bogucka from the Faculty of Computer Science and Telecommunications at Poznań University of Technology and her team will take part in the project ‘Physics-based wireless AI providing scalability and efficiency’.

The third Polish winner of the CHIST-ERA Call 2022 was Dr Szymon Szott, who, together with his team, will carry out research under the project ‘MLDR: A Machine Learning-Driven Radio Interface’ at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow.
