Polish universities assessed high in Regional Rankings Emerging Europe and Central Asia

Two Polish universities were included in the top 10 higher education schools in the Regional Rankings EECA 2020, which includes universities from Eastern Europe, Central Europe and Central Asia.

The Jagiellonian University in Kraków was classified in sixth place, and the University of Warsaw in seventh. The next Polish universities in the ranking are Warsaw University of Technology (14th place), Wrocław University of Science and Technology (43), AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków (52), University of Wrocław (57) and Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (60).

Regional Rankings Emerging Europe and Central Asia has been published since 2014 as part of QS World University Rankings. The list includes indicators such as: academic staff assessment, employer reputation, employee-student ratio, internationalization, publications and citations, and, for the first time since this year, participation in international research networks.

The ranking was once again won by the oldest Russian university, the Moscow State University Lomonosov.
