The Jagiellonian University in Krakow was ranked 320th, and the University of Warsaw – 344th in the international ranking of the U.S. News Best Global Universities.

The latest list includes 1750 best universities in the world, including 37 Polish universities.

Institutional and by subject ranking uses 13 indicators grouped in three areas – reputation indicators ( 25%), bibliometric indicators (65%), indicators of scientific excellence (10%). The results are published by US News & World Report based in Washington (USA), which has been creating and publishing the Best Colleges Ranking since the mid-1980s.

The top three of this year’s ranking are universities from the USA: Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Stanford University.
