Polish universities present at educational fair in India

A delegation of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn (UWM) participated in international educational fairs in New Delhi, India.

Participation in the fair was one of the tasks of the project “VENI VIDI VICI – integrated foreign promotion of the University of Warmia and Mazury in India” funded by the National Agency for Academic Exchange. Its head is Dr Rakesh Jalali is Rector’s Plenipotentiary for English-language studies and the Center Innovation and Technology Transfer UWM in Olsztyn.

– The Indian higher education system is not able to provide places for all students and that’s why many young Indians are studying abroad. In Poland, Indians are the third group of foreign students in terms of size, – explains Dr Rakesh Jalali.

Apart from UWM, the Fair was attended by University of Social and Life Sciences in Lublin, Maria Curie Sklodowska University in Lublin, University of Silesia in Katowice, Krakow University of Technology, University of Life Sciences in Poznan.
