Polish universities rated in four hundred of the latest QS World University Ranking

The University of Warsaw (308th position) and the Jagiellonian University in Krakow (309th position) is the highest ranked Polish universities in the latest QS World University Ranking.

The ranking includes 1,300 best universities worldwide, (145 more than a year ago), with 19 Polish universities.

The QS ranking takes into account six criteria: reputation in academia, prestige among employers, faculty-student ratio, number of citations, and the number of foreign students and employees. The list is prepared by Quacquarelli Symonds, which specializes in education and foreign studies.

The best universities in the world according to the ranking are: Massachusetts Institute of Technology (1st place), University of Oxford (2nd place) and Stanford University and the University of Cambridge (ex aequo 3rd place).

QS World University Ranking is one of the four most important global education rankings alongside Times Higher Education, the Shanghai Ranking and the US News Best Global Universities Ranking.
