Polish universities rated in the latest Center for World University Rankings

40 Polish universities and research institutes are rated in the latest world ranking of the Center for World University Rankings (CWUR) 2021-2022. Nearly 20,000 universities from all over the world were included in the classification. CWUR selected the best 2,000. In this year’s classification, the Jagiellonian University in Kraków was ranked 376, and the University of Warsaw 394.

The CWUR ranking takes into account the following indicators: quality of education – measured by the number of university graduates who have obtained important academic honors; employment of graduates – measured by the number of university graduates who have held managerial positions in leading global companies; faculty quality – measured by the number of research workers who have obtained significant academic distinctions; research results – measured by the total number of scientific articles; high-quality publications – measured by the number of scientific articles published in top-ranking journals, and citations – measured by the number of highly cited scientific articles.
The top three of this year’s ranking included: Harvard University (USA), Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA), Stanford University (USA).
