Pomeranian Academy in Słupsk to be more friendly for people with disabilities

The Pomeranian Academy in Słupsk will implement the project “Available Pomeranian Academy”. Almost PLN 4 million was obtained from the National Center for Research and Development for the implementation of activities.

The aim of the project is to support organizational changes, raise the awareness and competence of staff in the field of disability through the implementation of activities aimed at ensuring communication accessibility, administration of websites, IT tools, procedures in education, introducing modifications to education programs to ensure their accessibility for students with disabilities and activities in the field of architectural accessibility.

The licenses and IT tools purchased in the project will allow for effective management of the education, application process and selection of new fields of study. In this way, the university will be able to more easily meet the changing economic conditions in the future, it will also become more accessible to students with various types of disabilities.
