The Clinical Research Support Center of the Pomeranian Medical University (CWBK PUM) was launched in Szczecin. The investment with a total value of almost PLN 8.5 million is financed from the state budget from the funds of the Medical Research Agency.
The center will offer researchers support in the planning, coordination, management and accounting of clinical tests, both commercial and non-commercial procedures. The Center will take part in acquiring new research, actively searching for research sponsors and partners, conducting the initial feasibility process, and then planning, launching and supporting their implementation.
CWBK PUM will also take care of the standardization of processes and the implementation of quality procedures. It will deal with management, accounting, supervision and coordination of research, and will also provide scientific advice. The Center joined the Polish Network of Clinical Research, which has 23 members. The network brings together leading research institutes and medical universities.
