Pomeranian Researchers’ Night and the NightMission projects receive funding from the Horizon Europe programme

The University of Gdansk, acting as a partner in the project ‘Pomeranian Researchers Night: European Challenges And Missions Closer To The Citizens (NightMission)’, has received more than €40,000 from the Horizon Europe programme to organise the Pomeranian Researchers Night.

The Night Mission project will develop the Pomeranian Researchers’ Night in 2024 and 2025, in conjunction with the “Scientists in Schools!” initiative. The main objective is to achieve greater involvement of Pomeranian citizens and deepen their connections with excellent scientific research and research teams on a European scale, in the highly inclusive space of Researchers’ Night.

The events of this year’s Researchers’ Night will take place on 27 September. The project leader is the Medical University of Gdansk and the other partners are the Gdansk University of Technology, the University of Gdansk, the Maritime University in Gdynia, the Naval Academy in Gdynia, the Institute of Oceanology of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Sopot and the Experyment Science Centre and the Hevelianum Centre.
