The Pomeranian University in Słupsk has opened a new premises for the Herbarium Slupensis. The investment was carried out as part of the “Herbarium Pomeranicum” project implemented since 2019 in partnership with the University of Szczecin and the University of Gdańsk.

The material collected in the Słupsk herbarium, nearly 68,000 allegats, is used by for comparative taxonomic, morphological, anatomical and ecological studies. Thanks to the project, every researcher from even the most distant corner of the world will be able to view the collections collected in herbaria in a few moments on the screen of their own computer in a quality that will allow them to conduct scientific research.

The project is addressed to scientific and administrative staff, doctoral students, editors of scientific journals, as well as individual users. vouchers.
