Philology Department of the University of Silesia in cooperation with the Marshal’s Office, Silesian University and the Upper Silesian Association organizes the two-semester, interdisciplinary, post-graduate studies on knowledge about the region.

The studies are addressed to people who are particularly interested in Silesia. Graduates will obtain competences to carry out regional education classes at schools and cultural institutions. They will also be equipped with the ability to use effective and attractive methods and forms of education acquired during academic, field and workshop classes.
The plans include exercises in important places in Silesia, visiting cities and getting to know people who are a source of knowledge about the region. Graduates will be regional education leaders. They will create original classes, regional programs and other forms of education related to knowledge about Silesia.
