The Poznan University of Life Sciences has become a member of the European Federation for the Science and Technology of Lipids. The university will host the 19th EuroFedLipid international congress, which will take place in Poznań from 17 to 20 September.
EuroFedLipid is a European organisation of more than 2,000 scientists and entrepreneurs as well as scientific organisations and companies related to the lipid industry. Its mission is to advance the science and technology of fats and the cooperation and exchange of ideas between scientists and technologists at a global level.
The federation’s flagship event is its regular congresses, attended by around 1,000 delegates from around the world. These meetings are held in various countries, not only in Europe, and provide a platform for the integration of a group of experts representing a broad spectrum of specialisations in chemical engineering, food and nutrition technology, pharmacy, economics and medicine.
