The Poznan University of Medical Sciences – as the first medical university in Poland – has been awarded accreditation as an Engaged University by the Accreditation Council for Entrepreneurial and Engaged Universities (ACEEU). This means that it is one of only three Polish universities to hold this distinction.

Obtaining the accreditation is a recognition of the academic community and the authorities of the Poznan medical university for carrying out activities that are oriented towards having a positive impact on the surrounding society.

“The ACEEU accreditation, in addition to the HR distinction, is also proof that in all our activities, the goal is one – to create a good and stable university, which will provide opportunities to break glass ceilings, overcome barriers and broaden horizons”, says the pro-rector for science and international cooperation, Professor Michał Nowicki.
