The Poznań University of Medical Sciences has obtained the status of a European Reference Network as part of the university’s partnership in innovation for active and healthy aging in Europe. Obtaining the certificate has been confirmed by the European Commission.

The obtained certificate confirms the university’s contribution to the development of regional strategies for innovation, economy and smart specialization in the Greater Poland. Cooperation with new European partners working in various thematic groups for healthy aging gives the opportunity to apply for joint European grants (under H2020) and strengthens the University’s position on the international stage.

The European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Aging certificate is also a significant and prestigious opening of 2020 year for the academic community of the Poznań university. Its scholars will also be able to use it while submitting individual grant applications.
