Poznań University of Technology to begin application process for Second Robots and Autonomous Systems

20.01.2021

In February, the Poznań University of Technology will start the application process for the second the Robots and Autonomous Systems (RiSA) specialization at the Poznań University of Technology. The program of the specialization is based on four main areas:

Basic methods and algorithms – students learn selected issues of control theory useful in robotics, motion planning algorithms, autonomic navigation issues and methods of data mining.

Practical robotics – programming of robots and autonomous systems in the Robot Operating System environment commonly used in many applications, as well as industrial and cooperative robots from Universal Robots.

Vision systems and image processing – a subject that allows students who did not have contact with these issues during the BA studies to learn programming and application of image processing methods, and a subject at an advanced level, where image processing is combined with machine learning and machine intelligence algorithms.
