Prof. Arkadiusz Żukowski, director of the Institute of Political Sciences of the University of Warmia and Mazury (UWM) in Olsztyn, was re-elected as one of 16 members of the Executive Committee of the International Political Science Association (IPSA) for the 2021-2023 term.
-This election is not only my personal success but also an appreciation of Polish political science and the activity of the Polish Society of Political Sciences worldwide – emphasizes Prof. Arkadiusz Żukowski.
IPSA is the only global scientific society gathering political scientists, and institutionally its members are mainly national and regional political science societies (e.g. Nordic, Latin American or African associations). IPSA creates a global scientific network of political scientists from around the world.
Prof. Dianne Pinderhughes from the University of Notre Dame in the USA became the new president of IPSA.
