Prof. Piotr Francuz has become the patron of the Laboratory of the Department of Experimental Psychology of the Catholic University of Lublin

The laboratory of the Department of Experimental Psychology of the Catholic University of Lublin (KUL) was named after its founder and longtime head, Prof. Piotr Francuz – an outstanding psychologist and academic teacher. Prof. Piotr Francuz died in November 2020.

Prof. Piotr Francuz was the director of the Institute of Psychology of the Catholic University of Lublin (2012-2020), the head of the Department of Experimental Psychology of the Catholic University of Lublin and the Laboratory of the Department of Experimental Psychology of the Catholic University of Lublin. He was 60 years old.

The Laboratory of the Department of Experimental Psychology of the Catholic University of Lublin is a specialized research unit that conducts experimental research including perception and activity of the brain with the use of specialized equipment.

“The laboratory is mainly research-oriented, but it also serves students who conduct research as part of their master’s theses on cognitive neuroscience”, said the director of the Institute of Psychology of the Catholic University of Lublin, Dr Wacław Bąk, KUL.
