Professor Edward Norman Dancer from the University of Sydney awarded the J.P. Schauder Medal

Prof. Edward Norman Dancer from the University of Sydney was awarded the Medal of Julius P. Schauder 2017. The medal was awarded for outstanding achievements in the field of non-linear analysis, theory of differential equations and their applications.

The award was established by the Center for Non-linear Research of J. P. Schauder at the University of Toruń. The medal is awarded every two years for scientific achievements and contribution to nonlinear analysis and its applications. The laureate is selected from candidates proposed by the councils of mathematical units and from professors of mathematics.

Professor Edward Norman Dancer is an outstanding expert in the field of nonlinear mathematical and functional analysis and the theory of ordinary and partial differential equations. He is the author of many groundbreaking works published in leading mathematical journals.
