Higher education and scientific research in Poland require a very serious reform that will push it to a significantly higher level. Currently, it is an important civilization challenge for Poland.

The defeat of this reform, on behalf of particular interests, weakens our homeland – replies Prof. Jarosław Górniak, chairman of the National Council of the Congress of Science, to the authors of the “Appeal for changes in the plan of the reform of science of Minister Gowin”.

On February 26, 2018, the appeal for changes in the reform of science and higher education was signed by about 150 scientists. Professor Górniak referred to their demands and he explained the origins of the particular solutions and how they contribute to the Constitution for Science.
