Professor Monika Marcinkowska, director of the Institute of Finance at the Faculty of Economics and Sociology of the University of Lodz (UŁ), was elected for the third time to the advisory group at the European Banking Authority – EBA BSG.

The Promotion Center of the University of Lodz emphasizes, that Prof. Marcinkowska is a valued expert in finance and often represents the University of Lodz in important discussions on the current economic situation and the future of the economy.

-I am very pleased that I will be able to continue to support the European Banking Authority in my advisory capacity. I am proud that in this way I can contribute to a safer, more stable and customer-friendly functioning of European banks. In this term, I would like to pay special attention to the problem of sustainable finances, because I believe that the banking sector must support not only economic but also ecological and social goals – said Prof. Monika Marcinkowska.
