Professor Zygmunt Saloni will be the guest of the next meeting from the series “Lectures of Masters” at the Faculty of Philology of the University of Bialystok. On November 22, 2018 at 15:00 he will tell the listeners about a century of independence and “fixed” Polish spelling.

Professor Zygmunt Saloni is an outstanding linguist, honorary member of the Polish Linguistic Society and an honorary member of the Society of Polish Language Lovers.

His research interests are focused on Polish grammar and lexicography. He is the author or co-author of many fundamental and repeated works: “Syntactic features of the Polish verb”, “Introduction to Polish conjugation”, “Polish verb: variation, dictionary”, academic textbook “Syntax of contemporary Polish language” and a grammar dictionary of the Polish language.
