Students of foreign Polish studies, scholarship holders of the Program Polonist, met in Warsaw and exchanged their experience of Polish studies at Polish universities.
Nearly 50 scholarship holders of the first Program Polonist study at Polish universities this academic year. They came from Bulgaria, China, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Russia, Italy for one or two semesters of study. In their countries, they learn Polish and plan their professional future with it.
The National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) organized a meeting of participants of the Program Polonist from January 31 to February 1. Students had the opportunity to get to know each other, exchange experiences from their stay in Poland, as well as from studying at Polish universities and in their own countries.
During the two-day meeting, students had the opportunity to listen to a lecture on Polish language and literature by Prof. Nguyen Chi Thuat from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, a translator of Polish literature into Vietnamese.
