As part of the Dialog program financed by the Ministry of Science, four Polish research centers: AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków; Polish Academy of Sciences; Częstochowa University of Technology and Warsaw University of Technology carry out the project “Innovations in technology transfer procedures: Science – Industry”.
Prof. Eng. Zbigniew Kąkol from the AGH University of Science and Technology emphasizes, that it is necessary to remodel the view of modern universities to pursue education, research, and the practical use of know-how, where cooperation between science and business becomes one of the most important factors of innovation processes.
– Industry expects knowledge transfer from science. We do not expect scientists to come up with something and open a factory. We do not know this and we do not have to deal with this. The initiator of such activities must be the industry – added Prof. Kakol.
