The National Center for Research and Development announced the winners of the 9th LIDER competition. 51 scientists will receive a total of approximately PLN 60 million. Four scientists from the Lublin University of Technology will receive a total of nearly PLN 4.8 million for the implementation of their innovative projects and managing their own research team.
The awarded projects are: “Development of technology for increasing the aerodynamic performance of rotorcraft” by Eng Ksenia Siadkowska, PhD student at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering; “The use of functional zeolite structures for the production of asphalt mixtures in the asphalt foaming process” – by Dr Eng Agnieszka Woszuk from the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture; “New technology of plastic forming of hollow products with flanges for the mining industry” – by Dr Eng Grzegorz Winiarski from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering; “The production of ultrapure zeolites and mesoporous siliceous materials from fly ashes for selected environmental applications” – by Rafał Panek, MA, from the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture.
