Public vocational universities will receive PLN 15 million as part of the Didactic Initiative of Excellence. The results of the second call were announced by the Minister of Science and Higher Education Jarosław Gowin.

Support under the Didactic Initiative of Excellence is guaranteed by the Constitution for Science. Every year, 15 public vocational colleges that can boast the best results of the professional careers of their graduates will receive extra money.

– Through close cooperation between the ministry and the academic community, we are modernizing Polish universities in order to make science and higher education a trigger of Poland’s economic development as much as possible. Vocational universities have a particularly important mission. The Constitution for Science definitely raises the rank of these universities due to the obvious needs of the Polish economy, Polish business and, above all, Polish students – emphasized Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin.
