Pupils of the Wrocław primary school win Inventors Academy competition

The design of the drive system for supporting the stroller won the Robert Bosch competition of the Academy of Inventors. Its authors are students of the Wrocław elementary school No. 25.

The Academy aims to arouse young people’s interest in science and encourage them to think creatively. Wrocław University of Technology joined the project for the eighth time.

This year, the jury recognized the design of an independent drive system for supporting a pram, which was created by students of elementary school No. 25 in Wrocław. The trolley is driven by two electric motors providing power to adjust the speed of the trolley to the pace of the walk.

The device is safe – the motors turn off automatically when you take your finger off the start button. The prize for the winners was electronic equipment, the school received a voucher worth 5,000. PLN for equipping the technical studio.
