Until February 1, 2019, the First Commemoration of the International Day of Remembrance of Victims of the Holocaust in the Lublin region will take place, with the support of the Marshal of the Lublin Voivodeship, Jarosław Stawiarski.

Until January 31, participants will be able to take part in a conference entitled “Holocaust and after the Holocaust …” and in the meeting with survivors from the Holocaust and Polish representants of the Righteous Among the Nations as well as listen to a lecture by Tomasz Chojnacki from the Catholic University of Lublin entitled “The fate of Jews in German concentration camps”.

The participants of the event will also be able to watch the film entitled “The Story of Irena Sendlerowa,” directed by Andrzej Wolf and to meet he director of the film and Irena Sendlerowa’s daughter – Janina Zgrzembska.
