22 Polish universities are included in the latest QS World University Rankings. The highest position among Polish universities was taken by the University of Warsaw, ranked 284. The ranking lists nearly 1.5 thousand universities from around the world.
The Jagiellonian University in Krakow took the best place in history, 293rd, which means a rise by 16 places compared to last year’s ranking. Other Polish universities in this ranking are the University of Life Sciences in Poznań and the Warsaw University of Technology, which were classified in the range between 521 and 530.
QS World University Rankings is prepared by the British company Quacquarelli Symonds, which publishes materials on education and studying abroad. It is one of the four most important global education rankings next to Times Higher Education, Shanghai Ranking and U-Multirank.
Traditionally, the leader of the ranking is the American Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
