In 2018, 30 people completed the total air training for a plane pilot license in the Aeronautical Center of Rzeszów at University of Technology. This is the best result in the 40-year history of the center.

The year 2018 marks the record in the history of the pilotage of the Rzeszów University of Technology. In total, 114 students spent 6 156 hours in the air, which is an exceptional result to compare with 2017, when it was 3 839 hours. In 2018, 11,107 take-off and landing operations were carried out – said Mieczysław Górak, director of the Aviation Training Center at the Rzeszów University of Technology.

Rzeszów University of Technology has been training civil aviation pilots for over 40 years, and since 2007 it trains also aviation mechanics. Rzeszów University has educated over 780 pilots of civil aviation.
